The House Fund is looking for a Vice President to manage strategic relationships with our network of global Fortune 2000 executives to extract key market insights to inform the The House Fund’s investment decision making, and drive customer and strategic partner relationships for our portfolio companies with a focus on artificial intelligence.
Building upon our previously announced AI initiative, AI@The House, you will manage a network of leading executives and AI experts from industry and academia to understand key problem and opportunity areas.
You will then oversee the delivery of the right solutions and recommendations to enterprises from The House Fund portfolio and the broader technology landscape. Your previously developed skills in managing communications and engagements with many external strategic stakeholders will be invaluable in this role.
You will also synthesize these key market insights and deliver them to the Investment team to inform the investment decision making process.
Over time you will become a highly networked expert on the (1) landscape of problem areas within leading global enterprises and (2) leading startups and technologies addressing these problems, all with a focus around artificial intelligence.
The House Fund is a pre-seed and early stage venture capital fund, and the first fund focused on UC Berkeley (which produces more alumni-founded venture-backed startups than any University in the world). We invest in the community of nearly 600,000 UC Berkeley affiliates, specifically in companies that have at least one UC Berkeley affiliated founder (alumni, students, faculty). Since its founding in April 2016, The House Fund has invested in 50+ startups, including 7 exits, that have raised $1.9B+ in follow on financing.
Our team includes prolific Berkeley alumni investors, entrepreneurs, and faculty. Our 4 Part-Time Partners have founded companies with combined exits of $1B+ and our 6 Faculty Partners are among the world’s leading AI experts and entrepreneurs.
