Overview of The House Fund

The House Fund is a pre-seed and early stage venture capital fund, and the first fund focused on UC Berkeley (which produces more alumni-founded venture-backed startups than any University in the world). We invest in the community of nearly 600,000 UC Berkeley affiliates, specifically in companies that have at least one UC Berkeley affiliated founder (alumni, students, faculty). Since its founding in April 2016, The House Fund has invested in 50+ startups, including 10 exits, that have raised $2B+ in follow-on financing.

Our team includes prolific Berkeley alumni investors, entrepreneurs, and faculty. Our 4 Part-Time Partners have founded companies with combined exits of $1B+ and our 6 Faculty Partners are among the world's leading AI experts and entrepreneurs.
